You can come out now!
My brother Oliver likes to hide from me and I have no idea why. Yes I like to herd him 24/7, yes I take all of his toys and I may or may not chew out the squeaker, yes I also like to sit on his
head while he’s sleeping. But as a big sister these things are my job, and I take pride in my work, as you can see here.
Back story on Oliver. He keeps saying we’re the same age, but I am a WHOLE month older. The fact he’s
bigger, doesn’t mean he’s older (and certainly not wiser). He’s not a true sheep but he sorta looks like one so I let that slide. There were a lot of red flags when I first met him. First of all he’s a mouth breather, kind of a pet peeve of mine. His mouth is open 24/7, which brings me to the tongue hanging, that thing is never in his mouth – see?
I find it stuck to the floor, my back, my favorite woobie, you name it. Then there’s the breath, don’t even get me started. But now that we’ve grown up together, I have learned to love Oliver (let’s hope he’s not reading this!).
He plays a mean game of keepaway and he always, always has my back. I have learned many important life lessons from him, like how to look extra pathetic to score an extra treat. That best friends are great to lean on, literally. And most of all, that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover.
Sometimes the best and biggest hearts, are buried beneath a bunch of slobber and fluff.
