I love this weather, it’s finally starting to get a teensy bit cooler. Squirrel chasing is at its peak, my bad hair days are fewer and far between, and I’m getting my fall wardrobe in check! Still pretty hot tho. What gives? Oliver and I are are ready to wear our #shaggychic Lucy & Co vests but we can barely make it through a picture without our tongues dragging. Water please! And we have been waiting for the leaf piles, where are they? This time last year we were diving into crunchy piles of leaves my dad gathered up for us, but this year it’s not happening. It’s confusing for a sheep, but I’m waiting patiently.
It has also been a challenge for me to dream up my Halloween costume when it’s 90 degrees outside, but I make do. Especially after the inspiration I got at the Sandy Springs pet parade a couple weeks ago. I got to be a judge! It was a difficult choice, of course I am partial to food costumes. The taco is a classic and who doesn’t love a HOT DOG?! But all that judging left with me with lots of ideas for Halloween. Also with a mean craving for a footlong! ??
The DOODS and I have hit up several fun outings this month. We went to our first soccer game! Soccer is a lot like football with less yelling at the TV. It also has a lot of the same smells and spilled food items as baseball, so pretty much it’s the perfect sport!
Then we went apple picking! It is pretty much an all-you-can-eat buffet. Amazing! And I even managed to save a few for mom and dad. Speaking of mom and dad, someone very special had a birthday this month! Shout out to best mom ever!
We have lots of fun planned in the next couple weeks so be sure to follow me for Pumpkin Patches, Halloween and of course leaf piles. One day my leaves will come. ???
