Well the holidays are all over, and I’m sorry to say it but I am a little depressed. No more Santa Paws, no more dropped crumbs or late nights. I know the tasty tree with the shiny balls is coming down soon. I’ve chewed the squeakers out of all of my toys, and worst of all, mom and dad are about to get all “work-y” again. I’m mostly a very pawsitive pup, but even I need a little help with beating the post-holiday blues. So I put together some tips to survive this holiday hangover.
-This one is for moms and dads! Make some fun plans. This is the best time to plan a trip. Planning and looking forward to a vacation is my favorite thing. Pet friendly locales, of course!
-If you can’t swing a vacation right now, planning a fun outing also works! Here’s an idea. We’re ready to go again, mom!
-Exercise, my favorite! Don’t get me wrong, I can lay around with the best of them (and by that I mean Oliver!), but once I’m up, I like to move! So jump outside and chase some mini-sheeps, you will thank me for it when you’re done!
-Purge out all of your old stuff. If mom and dad are not doing it enough, I just bury them. Get rid of all your toys with missing limbs and squeakers, make room for the new! It feels great to get the clutter out, just remember one thing – THE WOOBIE STAYS!
